Edmonton, AB - Terrapin is pleased to have Paul Whittaker elected to its Board of Directors. Paul's 35 years of providing strategic policy and communications advice to industry and governments will be a significant asset to Terrapin in advancing our heat to value solutions in a rapidly decarbonizing world.

Paul currently serves as a Senior Associate with Global Public Affairs in their Calgary and Edmonton offices. He previously held senior positions within the Government of Alberta as Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs, and as Deputy Minister of International and Intergovernmental Relations. More recently, he served as CEO for Alberta Forest Products Association, working directly with Ministers, MLAs, and Mayors, as well as with industry CEOs, to represent the interests of Alberta's forest products companies.

The addition of Paul to the Board provides Terrapin with a valuable perspective in navigating the new regulatory regime as we move forward with the Alberta No. 1 geothermal project. Moreover, his deep expertise in forestry also enhances Terrapin's strategic direction in delivering clean energy solutions to Alberta's established industries. Terrapin looks forward to his contributions as a member of our Board as we continue to grow.
